The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office is requesting information from the public as a part of its ongoing investigation of a child abduction case.
28-year-old Joseph Andrew Bragg is charged with kidnapping and sexual assault related to an incident January 21st involving a 7-year-old child. After several hours, the child was recovered alive, and the suspect was apprehended.
Investigators have determined that Bragg communicated with parents through social media, offering to provide nanny or daycare services. Authorities are asking anyone who employed Joseph Bragg as a nanny for their children to contact investigators through the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) tipline at (651) 793-2465.
The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation with assistance from the BCA and FBI.
