Buffalo Strong, an organization to help boost unity of the city and its residents is honoring the victims and the memory of the tragic mass shooting at the Allina Crossroads Clinic five years ago today, February 9th, 2021.
Buffalo Strong asks community residents to take a moment to reflect, and to help the organization continue its mission of improving the community through support of services, affordability funds for continued care, and continued work on breaking through the stigmas that surround mental health in Buffalo, and throughout the state and nation.
Officials say donations from the 2025 Street Party of Hope helped to raise some 20-thousand dollars to give back to local mental health services and initiatives.
The organization has announced the launch of the Buffalo Strong Coalition, an organization created for the purpose of educating the Buffalo community on suicide prevention, awareness, and tragedy recovery.
