Four Injured in Minivan vs. Pickup Crash in Elk River

Four people were injured Monday afternoon when a minivan and a pickup truck collided in Elk River.

The State Patrol reports that shortly after 4:30 PM, a Ram pickup was eastbound on State Highway 10, and was attempting to go south on Highway 101 while a Toyota minivan was southbound on Highway 169 and was heading to the ramp to go east on Highway 10 when the vehicles collided.

The driver of the minivan, 35-year-old Anna Burge of Zimmerman, and three juvenile passengers, a 13-year-old male, and a 7-year-old and 1-year-old female, all sustained non-life threatening injuries. All four were taken to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids for treatment.

The driver of the Ram pickup, 44-year-old David Winn of St. Michael, was not injured.

The Elk River Police and Fire Departments assisted State Troopers at the scene.
