Republican Senator Eric Lucero of St. Michael announced the founding members this week at the State Capitol…
“Senator Nathan Wesenberg as Senate leader, Senator Bill Lieske as assistant Senate leader, Senator Michael Holmstrom, Representative Drew Roach as House leader, Representative Ben Davis as assistant House leader, and Representative Michael Wiener.”
Lucero says the Minnesota Freedom Caucus is not a breakaway caucus, but a sub-caucus of Republicans. Lucero says the Freedom Caucus was formed to provide leadership guided by natural law, the U-S Constitution, and the state Constitution…
“And it’s open to both men and women and we have already had several members reach out to us expressing interest about growing. But I can tell you when women join the Minnesota Freedom Caucus, we can guarantee they will be authentic women, not men who are pretending to be women.”
Lucero says Minnesotans are frustrated at the direction of our state, the unprecedented fraud costing billions of dollars, and the high taxes.
House lead, GOP Representative Drew Roach of Farmington, says the Minnesota Freedom Caucus marks a new chapter for conservative leadership in the state…
“We are a unified bloc of principled conservatives from both the House and Senate who refuse to compromise on the core values that built this great state. Minnesota is the 15th state to launch a Freedom Caucus chapter.
