Writer and local historian Mary Agnes Ratelle will be presenting “More Than a Housewife” at the next History Buffet – Saturday, March 21st, doors open at 8:30 AM, presentation begins at 9:30 AM, at the Hanover Area History Center.
Join in and learn about how the 50’s era housewife was a mainstay of the American visual culture and embodied both hopes of postwar economic opulence and her impact on the feminism movement.
This event is open to the public for a free will donation! Coffee and pastries will be served before the presentation.
