Friends and family will remember a lifelong Maple Lake area man and former fireman and veterans organization volunteer.
Thomas “Tom” Mooney passed away March 29th at the age of 86.
Tom was a 1957 graduate of Maple Lake High School. Throughout his working life, he spent time in sales with Jude Candy and Tobacco, as well as Maple Lake Lumber. He also worked in construction with Winkelman Building of St. Cloud.
Tom was a longtime member of the Maple Lake American Legion and Legion Honor Guard. He also volunteered for some 39 years with the Maple Lake Fire Department.
The funeral Mass for Thomas Mooney is planned for today at the St. Timothy’s Catholic Church of Maple Lake. Memorials are preferred to the Maple Lake Fire Department.
