A celebration of life is planned for today (Friday) for a longtime Monticello resident, U-S Army veteran, and noted former Monticello American Legion Post member.
Richie Latham passed away February 12th at the age of 72.
Richie and his wife, Cheryl, raised their family in Monticello where Richie spent 32 years at the Monticello Nuclear Power Plant using his degree in nuclear physics.
He was also a dedicated member of the Monticello American Legion Post #260, and served a term as Commander in 2016.
A life celebration for Richie Latham is set for today at the Monticello American Legion. A private family burial is planned.
