Construction is slated to begin soon at Montissippi County Park in Monticello as a part of a series of planned improvements to enhance the park experience.
The project will include upgrades to parking and site access, the addition of a new shelter, and replacement of the existing playground.
Officials say the improvements are designed to better accommodate current use, improve accessibility, and provide updated amenities for park visitors. The public is reminded that during construction, some areas of the park may be temporarily closed or have limited access. Parks Department officials thank visitors for their patience as the improvements are completed.
