More railroad crossing work in Wright County will result in a road closure in the near future.
Canadian Pacific Railroad has informed the Wright County Highway Department that they will close CSAH 6 at the railroad crossing south of Highway 55 in Corinna Township in order to complete the work.
The work was originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 12th, but has now been delayed to Sunday, May 17th. CP Railroad officials say they expect the roadway will remain closed through Wednesday, May 20th.
The work schedule is weather permitting and subject to change. No detour will be posted. Motorists are asked to use an alternate route.
