Annual Spring Clean-Up events resume this weekend in and around Wright County.
In Maple Lake, the annual Spring Clean-Up Day is combined with the Appliance Recycling Day, and is open to all Wright County residents.
The Maple Lake event will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 7:30 AM until 12 noon at the Maple Lake City Maintenance Shop at 441 Oak Avenue South. Disposal fees will be based on the items brought in.
A one day clean-up is also scheduled for Saturday in Montrose. The City of Montrose will sponsor the community cleanup at the Public Works location from 8 AM to 12 noon. Once again disposal fees will be based on the various types of items brought in for disposal.
Anyone with questions on what may, or may not be brought in should contact the city offices in those communities, or visit the websites of those cities.
The final spring clean-ups will be held on several days in the month of June in the City of Waverly. Residents in that community may visit the city website for details, or contact the city offices.
