Two Vehicle Crash in Rockford Sends One to the Hospital Thursday Afternoon

A two vehicle crash in Rockford Thursday afternoon leaves two people with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the State Patrol, 36-year-old Emily Provo of Buffalo was westbound on Highway 55 in a 2017 Kia Sorento, while 57-year-old Joli Williams of Rockford was southbound on Ash Street.  The two vehicles collided at the intersection.

Provo was taken to the Maple Grove Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while Williams did not require medical care.  Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, and alcohol was not a factor in the 3:54 PM crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Rockford Fire Department, and Alliance Ambulance.
