In every county across the state, at least one-in-four renters are struggling to afford housing, devoting more of their income to rent than is considered sustainable.

“In every county around the state, at least 30% of senior renter households are cost-burdened. And in 78% of counties, the majority of counties, over 50% of seniors are experiencing rent burden.
The MHP county profiles for Wright County show that just under 13-hundred, or 71 percent of all senior renters in the county are considered to be cost-burdened.
