Minnesotans are getting ready to start their spring gardening. Minnesota Horticulture Society Board Member Renay Leone reminds gardeners to do the proper research to help prevent bringing any invasive plants into your ecosystem…
“You might think, well, I’m just going to have one in my little backyard and it won’t escape and it’ll be fine. Well, depending on what it is, that may be true, but it also may be just horribly wrong. And now suddenly not only you have way too many of those, but they’re spreading to your neighbors and into the park behind your house.”
More gardening tips can be found on the Horticulture Society’s website at; www.northerngardener.org.
Wright County’s U of M Master Gardeners are also a great source of garden and landscape information.
