A pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a vehicle Saturday in rural Litchfield.
The State Patrol reports that shortly after 3:30 PM Saturday, a Ram pickup that was westbound on Highway 12 at Meeker County Road 34 in Litchfield Township struck a teen-aged pedestrian.
Officials say the pedestrian, a 15-year-old male from Fergus Falls sustained non-life threatening injuries in the incident. He was treated at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The driver of the pickup, 64-year-old David Bauer of Litchfield, was not injured.
The State Patrol did not report any further details about the circumstances of the crash. The Litchfield Police, Fire and Rescue Departments, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office and the Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
