A Memorial Mass is scheduled for today (Monday) in Winsted for a longtime resident and city employee.
Elizabeth “Betty” Zachmann passed away June 27th at her home at the age of 84.
Betty and her husband, Ron made their home and raised their family in Winsted where Betty was employed for 35 years at the Winsted City Clerk / Treasurer.
She was also a lifetime member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, and was a longtime volunteer at The Attic in Winsted.
The Memorial Mass for Betty Zachmann is scheduled for today (Monday) at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. A private inurnment is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be directed to The Attic in Winsted in Betty’s honor.
