One person was injured in a single-vehicle traffic crash Tuesday morning in neighboring Meeker County.
The State Patrol reports that around 8:30 AM, a Chevy Malibu passenger car was northbound on State Highway 24 near Meeker County Road 27 in Forest City Township when it left the roadway and crashed.
The driver of the car, 81-year-old Mary Mendoza of Litchfield sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield for treatment.
The Litchfield Fire Department, Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, and Mayo EMS assisted the State Patrol.
