Community celebrations continue in the Wright County area this weekend. The annual Waverly Daze activities continue today (Friday).
Friday activities include the tractor show at the Railroad Park, and Family Fun night at the Legion Park. The crowning of new Waverly Royalty will be held at 7 PM at the Village Hall. Other events include a balloon artist and magician. Other features include carnival games, face painting, music and entertainment from “Chopper, the World’s Nuttiest DJ” from 7:30 to midnight. The annual fireworks display over the lake will begin around 10:15, and sports tournaments will be held throughout the evening.
