St. Michael Man Seriously Injured in Monday Motorcycle Crash in Maple Grove

A Wright County man was seriously injured Monday morning in a motorcycle crash in the metro area.

The State Patrol reports that around 10 AM Monday, a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling on the ramp from northbound Interstate 494 to eastbound I-94 in Maple Grove when the cycle left the roadway.

The motorcyclist, 54-year-old Jeremy Nyberg of St. Michael, sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

Officials say Nyberg was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The Maple Grove Police and Fire Departments, and North Ambulance assisted State Troopers at the scene.
