One driver was injured when two trucks collided early Friday morning in Becker Township.

The State Patrol reports that around 6:40 AM Friday, a Sterling dump truck was westbound on U-S Highway 10, and a Ford F450 Heavy-Duty truck was southbound on Sherburne County Road 11 when they collided at the intersection.

Officials say the driver of the Ford heavy-duty truck, 39-year-old Samuel Cation of Annandale sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the dump truck, 25-year-old Tayvontez Larkins of Anoka, was not injured.

Traffic in the area was delayed for a lengthy period Friday morning as first responders assisted the drivers, and towing crews worked to clear the crash scene.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, the Big Lake Police Department, the Becker Fire Department, MnDOT, and CentraCare Ambulance all responded to the scene along with the State Patrol.
