The Wright County Highway Department is reminding motorists of a road closure in our region that will begin next week.
County State Aid Highway 7 at State Highway 24 will be closed beginning Monday. Officials say traffic north and southbound along Highway 24 will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. All other traffic should follow the posted detour, or use an alternate route depending on the destination.
Motorists are asked to allow additional time and use caution through the work zone and along the detour.
Highway Department officials say this is a temporary closure of CSAH 7 during the first stage of the project, and is expected to last 2 weeks, weather permitting, as temporary storm sewer pipe is installed.
