The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced an update to the Highway 25 project from Buffalo to Monticello.
Drivers may have noticed recently that northbound Highway 25 from Highway 55 in Buffalo is now open all the way to CSAH 83 – the access road to the county government campus. Work on side streets and shoulders on that section of Highway 25 will continue.
MnDOT says progress is being made on the northern portion of the project. Officials estimate that by the end of the workday on Friday, August 21st, Highway 25 heading south from Monticello will be open to CSAH 37.
The detour between CSAH 37 and CSAH 83 utilizing CSAH 37, CSAH 12 and Highway 55 will remain in place until the project is completed in October.
