Minnesota families who are completing their back-to-school shopping are reminded that school supply purchases could mean savings when they file their taxes….
“And what’s not so well known is that there are tax benefits out there by the state of Minnesota that can help offset those expenses on those classroom supplies. And so, this is just a big reminder that you could save hundreds of dollars the next time you file your taxes.”
Minnesota Revenue Commissioner Paul Marquart encourages families to save receipts for qualifying purchases made this year.
