A funeral Mass is planned for today (Tuesday) for a noted St. Michael area resident. Paul “Archie” Kilian passed away August 19th at the age of 90.
Archie grew up in St. Michael, and after graduation, served in the U-S Army. Following his service, he and his wife, Audrey, lived first in Silver Bay, then returned to St. Michael where they raised their family.
Archie owned and operated a family electrical and insulation business. He also was a past member of the St. Michael City Council, and served for 22 years as a volunteer firefighter for the city. He was also a lifetime member of the St. Michael Catholic Church, where a funeral Mass is to be held today (Monday). Burial with Military Rites was planned at the St. Michael Cemetery in St. Michael.
