Work was completed over the weekend, and traffic is flowing on a new roundabout in Wright County.
The Wright County Highway Department reports that it completed finishing work on the roundabout at County State Aid Highways 35 and 8 in Chatham Township on Saturday afternoon.
Site preparation was begun last year, with work resuming this spring. The opening of the road is great news for local motorists who have been using a detour for several months. The work was also completed in time for buses to use their normal routes for the start of the new school season in the coming days.
