Wright County’s jobless rate dropped slightly in July.
The latest data from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development shows that Wright County’s non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for July was 4.5 percent, down a tenth of a point from June, but notably higher than the 3.8 percent jobless rate from the same period last year.
Statistics show that around 150 more workers were employed in July than in June, with Wright County’s overall labor force growing by slightly more than 100 workers to just over 86 thousand 700 workers.
Meanwhile, Minnesota’s seasonally adjusted unemployment in July was 4.3 percent, down a tenth of a point from June, but up from 3.8 percent in July of last year.
July’s U-S seasonally adjusted unemployment was 4.1 percent, down from 4.2 percent in July of both 2025 and 2024.
