One Injured in 4-Vehicle Crash in Elk River

A Big Lake man was injured when four vehicles collided early Tuesday morning in the community of Elk River.

The State Patrol reports that shortly after 6:30 AM, two SUVs, a passenger car and a pickup truck were all westbound on Highway 10 in Elk River when they collided at Mile Marker 213.

The driver of a Honda passenger car, 27-year-old Jevin Jensen of Big Lake had non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. He was treated at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

The driver of one of the SUVs involved, 39-year-old Lukas Nelson of Big Lake, and the driver of the other SUV, 62-year-old Nancy Hassler of Big Lake, both escaped injury.

The driver of the pickup truck involved, a 38-year-old man from Sauk Rapids, was also unhurt.

The Elk River Police and Fire Department assisted the State Patrol.
