Memorial Services Today (Friday) for longtime Wright County Area Nurse, Loretta Peterson

Memorial Services are planned for today (Friday) in Annandale for a longtime area resident and longtime hospital nurse in our region.

Loretta Peterson passed away September 10th at the age of 81.

Loretta was born in Graceville, Minnesota, and grew up in Beardsley, where she graduated from high school in 1963. She graduated with a nursing degree from Willmar Community College in 1965.

Her professional career took her to many hospitals, including Wheaton, the University of Minnesota, St. Cloud, and lastly, the Monticello-Big Lake Hospital, where she stayed for 30 years.

Loretta and her husband, Larry raised their family in a number of towns, then bought a hobby farm outside of Annandale.

Loretta was also an active member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church of Annandale where she was involved in the choir, bible study, and a number of other groups.

Memorial Services for Loretta Peterson are scheduled for today (Friday) (11 AM), at the St. John’s Lutheran Church of Annandale.
