There’s more comment today from recent meetings in the nation’s capitol with Minnesota Farm Bureau members and the Minnesota Congressional delegation.
Minnesota Farm Bureau President and Wright County farmer, Dan Glessing says the recent meetings really were a continuation of meetings that have been happening over the course of the past two years…
“We have tried to make our livelihoods better and really emphasize the importance of whether it’s getting a Farm Bill done or improve trade deals and trade negotiations and improving the input price situation that farmers and ranchers are facing.”
The Senate Ag Committee passed new Farm Bill language in recent days. It now heads to the full U-S Senate.
