Annandale 41, Foley 7. #1 in AAA Annandale cruised to a win vs. the Falcons on Friday night at St. Tech HS on a game heard right here on AM1360 KRWC. The #9 ranked player in the state for his class of 2028, RB Rylan Horsch ran for a TD, rushed for a TD and returned an interception for a TD for Annandale, while Sr. WR Cooper Broman hauled in eight receptions for 122 yards and 2 TD’s.
Dassel-Cokato 48, Jordan 17. The Chargers roared to a home win over the Hubmen to remain undefeated and ranked #8 in Class AAA.
Monticello 40, Cambridge-Isanti 14. Cale Holthaus rushed for 107 yards and three TD’s and added an interception, one of three on the night for the Magic, as #2AAAAA Monti rolled on the road on Friday night.

Holy Family 17, Howard Lake WW 14. Hunter Bush hit Alex Stueven for a TD, and Jaxon Ewert scored on an eight-yard run, but in the end the #5AAA Fire hit a late field goal to escape with the win at home on homecoming.
Maple Lake 48, Long Prairie Grey Eagle 0. The Irish picked up their first win with a shutout win over LPGE on Friday.
Rockford 22, Milaca 6. Max Ladman threw for a TD and ran for one as well as the Rockets picked up their first win of the season.
Buffalo 15, Bemidji 13. Oliver Sanders had five receptions for 90 yards and both of Buffalo’s TDs as the Bison defeated the Lumberjacks in close game for the second straight season.
Delano 35, Zimmerman 25. QB Grant Bruett threw for 62 yards and ran for 165 with two TDs as the Tigers rallied from a 25-21 deficit going into the fourth quarter, outscoring the Thunder 14-0 in the fourth to remain undefeated and gave Zimmerman their first loss of the season.

Wayzata 28, STMA 20, The Knights lost another close one in their third straight matchup against a Top 10 AAAAAA in the state on Friday night at home. Braylon Bohm rushed for 106 yards and a TD in the loss, while Jayden Karger led the defense with 14 tackles and a sack.
Saturday, September 19th.
Volleyball.
Maple Lake went 4-0-2 at the Central Classic on Saturday and finished tied for first place.
Dassel-Cokato went 3-1-1 at the Central Classic with wins over Litch, Breck and Liberty Classical.
Delano finished third at the Minnesota Volleyball Showcase at Burnsville by going 5-1.

Buffalo 4, Brainerd 0. Scoring came from all over for the Bison on Saturday as four different players scored including, Owen Seestrom, Cade Nissen, Landon Kirschner and Stone Hoel.

Monticello 4, Big Lake 1. Kayden Kouril netted a natural hat trick with three straight goals for the Magic in their win on Monday night.

Volleyball.
New London Spicer 3, Annandale 2. Two ranked AA teams put on a show Monday night in a match that went back and forth before the Wildcats won a thrilling fifth set, 15-11. Adeline Olson led the Wildcats with 14 kills.
Tuesday, September 22nd.
Volleyball.
Howard Lake WW 3, Watertown Mayer 1. After dropping the first set the Lakers won three straight, 25-16, 25-18 and 25-19 to secure a big road win over the Royals on Tuesday night.
Annandale 3, Norwood YA 0. The Cards swept the Raiders on the road, but it wasn’t easy, 25-20, 25-19 and 25-19.
Maple Lake 3, Breck 0. The Irish swept the Mustangs, 25-15, 26-24, and 25-14.
Delano 3, Jordan 0. This one was never in doubt as the Tigers outscored the Hubmen, 75-38 in the sweep.
Glencoe SL 3, Rockford 0. It was all Panthers on Tuesday night, as they outscored the Rockets, 75-37.
