Thousands of Minnesota cancer patients were included in a new statewide study examining the effects of medical cannabis.

“This was a study of about 6,000 patients who all completed patient self-evaluations after their purchases of medical cannabis products. So we were able to look at those data, and they report how the impacts reach them on eight different types of symptoms.”
Collins says the patient reports showed improvements in several areas, including nausea, vomiting and appetite loss, along with symptoms related to anxiety and depression.
