Despite ongoing challenges, a Minnesota Chamber of Commerce report identifies several areas where state businesses continue to attract investment.
MN Chamber spokesman Sean O’Neill says the state can build on some already established strengths…
“Our medical technology sector is a perfect example. So we still have companies that are investing in large new expansions. We’re attracting investment from other states and other countries. Medical technology, pharmaceuticals, that still continues to be an area of strength.”
O’Neill also identifies aerospace, semiconductor manufacturing and though controversial, data center-related technologies are areas that could create additional opportunities for Minnesota.
