Halloween is no trick for Minnesota retailers.
Shoppers this year are expected to spend about 230-million dollars on spooky-season fun this year. Bruce Nustad is president of the Minnesota Retailers Association…
“Likely not a surprise, but candy still tops the list of Halloween spending. And of course, that’s followed by decorations and costumes. And we keep seeing costumes and items for pets are on Halloween, and that’s big this year as well.”
Nustad says Halloween offers retailers another opportunity to attract shoppers during the fall season. Nationwide Halloween spending this year is estimated at 13.5 billion.
