A local woman was injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash Tuesday morning in the City of Cokato.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 10 AM Tuesday on U-S Highway 12 and Jackson Avenue Southwest in Cokato.
Officials say a Chevy Trailblazer SUV was eastbound on Highway 12, while a Hyundai Palisade SUV was westbound when the vehicles collided.
Injured in the crash was the driver of the Hyundai SUV, 32-year-old Kelsey Zieman of Annandale. She sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Buffalo Hospital. A 1-year-old passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
The driver of the Chevy Trailblazer, 41-year-old Israel Salinas-Cruz of Willmar, escaped injury.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cokato Fire Department and Ambulance assisted the State Patrol.
