Annual Township Elections Today (Tuesday)

It’s election day today (Tuesday) for residents in the vast majority of townships in Wright County, and throughout the state.

15 Wright County Townships will be holding elections for at least one supervisor, and in many cases a treasurer.

In many townships, incumbent officials are running un-opposed for re-election, but there are two contested races.

In Rockford Township, Larry Otto and Corey Walker are vying for the same supervisor seat, and in Woodland Township, voters will decide between Barry Pawelk and John W. Olson for a supervisor position.

Some township residents cast early ballots via in-person absentee voting at the Wright County Government Center in Buffalo.

For those that prefer in-person election day voting, ballots may be cast at township halls across Wright County today. Residents should contact their local township officials with questions on times for voting and annual meetings which will take place in many townships after the ballots are tabulated.
