Becker Man Injured in 2-Vehicle Traffic Crash Wednesday

A man from our area was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Becker Township in neighboring Sherburne County.

The State Patrol reports that around 1:15 PM Wednesday, a Chevy Blazer SUV was southbound on County Road 11, while a Honda Accord passenger car was eastbound on Highway 10. The vehicles collided at the intersection.

Injured in the crash was the driver of the Honda sedan, 27-year-old Jordan Reichert of Becker, who sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the St. Cloud Hospital. A passenger in the Honda vehicle, 24-year-old Tyler Reichert, also of Becker, was not injured.

The driver of the SUV, 79-year-old Carol Tschida of Foley, was not injured.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, the Becker Police and Fire Department, and CentraCare Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
