The Big Lake Police Department is investigating an incident that left one person injured on July 4th in Lakeside Park.
At around 2:15 PM on the fourth, Big Lake Police responded to a medical call at the Lakeside Park parking lot. There, officers discovered an adult individual who sustained injuries from contact with the side of a boat trailer. The injured party was transported to the local hospital. Their condition was not released.
All parties involved remained present and cooperated in the on-scene investigation. Police are investigating the incident, including reviewing park surveillance footage. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
