The Buffalo FFA and FFA Alumni will once again be operating their “Sunflower Experience” this weekend at the Buffalo High School campus.

Earlier this spring, seeds were donated by local farmer and seed distributor Joe Hopkins, and were planted by community member and FFA Alumni member Stan VanderKooi, and have produced more than three acres of sunflowers with an estimated 70 thousand flowers now in bloom.

The public is invited to stroll through the sunflowers and stop for photo-ops along the way.

The field will be open today (Thursday), through Sunday from 3 to 7 PM. Visitors should park in the south parking lot at Buffalo High School.

A suggested donation of 5 dollars per person will help to support FFA scholarships and a trip to the FFA National Convention.
