A memorial reception and Celebration of Life will be held today (Thursday) for a Buffalo woman who was the victim of a recent fatal car crash near Winsted.
63-year-old Melinda Koosman of Buffalo died on January 6th, in a collision involving her Hyundai Santa Fe SUV and a Freightliner Straight Truck. The crash happened around 8:30 that morning on Highway 7 in Winsted Township. Authorities said roads were very icy at the time of the crash.
Friends and family say that Melinda was lively, creative and had a tremendous sense of humor.
A reception is planned for today (Thursday) beginning at 4 PM, followed by the Celebration of Life at 5 PM at Huikko’s Event Center on Highway 25 in Buffalo.
