Officials with the City of Buffalo are advising residents that it has been made aware of recent instances of a door-to-door salesperson with a solar company falsely claiming that they are partnered with the City of Buffalo and the city’s Municipal Utilities. Officials say this claim is not true.
The city has issued a statement saying that although the company, ERMU, works with customers that choose to explore solar options, the city does not endorse, partner, or affiliate with any solar companies.
