The City of Buffalo is reminding residents that the annual fall leaf pickup will be taking place this week.
Officials say the free leaf pickup will take place November 11th, 12th and 13th on the regular garbage collection days that week. Residents are asked to set bagged leaves out at curbside as you normally would for trash pickup. Leaves must be placed in compostable paper bags. Leaves in plastic bags will not be collected.
City residents may also continue to utilize the City of Buffalo’s compost facility near the Buffalo Civic Center.
Compostable bags must also be used at the compost site, or residents may empty other types of containers or trailers without bagging.
