The City of Buffalo is preparing for the first-ever “Great Outdoor Fair” to be held Saturday at Sturges Park on the shore of Buffalo Lake.
The Great Outdoor Fair is a free community event designed to celebrate the great outdoors, promote environmental stewardship, and showcase many local organizations and businesses.
Visitors are invited to participate in activities and discoveries that will include Yoga in Nature, voyageur canoe rides, archery, a story walk, invasive species boat decontamination, a native plant sale from local growers and more.
A prairie and native gardens discussion, U of M Raptor Show, and a Buffalo history discussion will be featured at the bandshell.
Live music, food trucks, a kids zone, artisan vendors, and fun in the sun bingo will also be featured.
The Great Outdoor Fair is a free event for all, and will run from 9 AM to 2 PM at Sturges Park in Buffalo.
A note to the public, due to the Great Outdoor Fair, the Sturges Park boat launch and parking lot will be closed on Saturday from 1 AM to 5 PM.
