A woman from Darwin was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Collinwood Township in neighboring Meeker County.
The State Patrol reports that just after 2 PM Wednesday, a Ford Explorer SUV and a Ford Taurus passenger car were both southbound on State Highway 15 near the intersection with Meeker County Road 4 when the sedan rear-ended the SUV.
Injured in the crash was the driver of the Explorer, 46-year-old Martha Gaye of Darwin. She was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford passenger car, 18-year-old Daniel Wehseler of Hutchinson, was not injured.
Officials say roads were snow and ice covered at the time of the crash. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office and the Dassel Fire Department assisted at the scene.
