Dassel Man Injured in Saturday Morning Traffic Crash

A Dassel man was injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash Saturday morning in neighboring Meeker County.

The State Patrol reports that just before 10 AM Saturday, a GMC Yukon SUV was northbound on State Highway 15, while a Jeep Compass SUV was eastbound on Meeker County road 24. The vehicles collided at the intersection.

Injured in the crash was a passenger in the GMC vehicle. 61-year-old Roger Richter of Dassel sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Hutchinson Hospital. The driver of the GMC vehicle, 43-year-old Emily Richter, also of Dassel, was not injured.

The driver of the Jeep vehicle, 36-year-old Erin Buhr of Litchfield, also escaped injury.

The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, the Dassel Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted State Troopers.
