With beautiful weather this Memorial Day, waterways in Wright County and throughout the state will be busy, and the DNR wants to make sure everyone is enjoying the water safely…
“Make sure that you have enough life jackets for everyone on the boat that they fit them properly, and most importantly that you’re wearing them. So as the captain of your ship, you’re able to set the ground rules for folks coming on your boat. So lead by example. Always wear your life jacket.”
Kids under the age of ten are required to wear a life jacket at all times.
