The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is investing more than $150 million to modernize the state’s outdoor recreation.
DNR Fish and Wildlife Division Director Kelly Straka says it’s an investment in the state’s heritage…
“In Minnesota, we know without outdoor recreation at central to our identity, it’s a huge part of our tradition. It’s a huge part of what we love to do. It’s important for families, for friends, for relationships, for your mental and physical health across the globe.”
Projects include enhancing access to facilities, modernizing camping infrastructure, and restoring streams to support outdoor recreation.
