Five Injured in SUV vs. SUV Crash Monday Near Becker

Five people were injured when two SUVs collided Monday afternoon near Becker.

The State Patrol was called to the scene of the crash on State Highway 25 and 97th Street Southeast in Becker Township in neighboring Sherburne County around 5 PM.

Officials say a Jeep Wrangler was southbound on Highway 25, while a Nissan Rogue was traveling east on 97th street when the vehicles collided at the intersection.

The driver of the Jeep, a 16-year-old female from Eden Prairie, and two passengers, both 16-year-old females from Eden Prairie and St. Louis Park, all had non-life threatening injuries and were treated at the St. Cloud Hospital.

The driver of the Nissan vehicle, 92-year-old Phillip Terrill, and a passenger, 77-year-old Pamela Terrill, both from Chisago City, also had non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. Both were also treated at the St. Cloud Hospital.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, the Becker Police and Fire Departments, and CentraCare Ambulance assisted State Troopers at the scene.
