Buffalo Days is in the books for another year, and overall, the celebration was well received by residents and visitors despite some up and down weather.

Parts of Buffalo Days 2024 saw some of the most beautiful weather ever as the first Sunday, June 9th had great weather for the Fly-in Breakfast and Classic Car Show as well as the Buffalo Community Orchestra concert. Thursday and Friday were also spectacular for all the events including the fireworks on Friday night.

Saturday morning events including the Fishing Klinic for Kids went on as scheduled despite the threat of rain, much of the afternoon was a wash-out as steady rain continued throughout the day. The Buffalo Days parade was eventually held despite a delay.

Sunday was a warm and humid day, but a number of visitors enjoyed activities at Sturges Park throughout the morning and afternoon.

Sunday evening, the 2024 Buffalo Royalty was crowned at the annual coronation. The new Miss Buffalo is Carley Kill. Princesses are Gwyn Swanson and Laura Ryder.

The royalty will represent the city in various parades throughout the region, and at numerous events in the community for the coming year.

Next on the summer celebration calendar is the Buffalo Rodeo, and Howard Lake’s Good Neighbor Days, both happening this weekend.
