Funds Being Raised for Hanover Family After Devastating Fire Wednesday

Friends and neighbors are seeking donations for a Hanover family that lost their home to fire Wednesday.

Multiple sources indicate a home in the Mallard Street and Meadowbrook Avenue area in the northeastern part of Hanover was largely destroyed after a fire apparently broke out in the garage, and soon spread to the home itself.

Reports indicate that fire crews from Hanover, St. Michael and Albertville were first on the scene around 5 PM. Crews from Rockford and Buffalo reportedly later joined in the fire control efforts.

Information indicates that the family runs a daycare operation out of the home, but all persons were reported to be safe, with no injuries reported. There’s no official word on what may have caused the fire.
