A funeral Mass is planned for today (Thursday) for a longtime Maple Lake area resident, health care specialist and charitable volunteer.
Margaret “Peg” Plaggerman passed away June 5th at the age of 72.
Peg was a 1971 graduate of Maple Lake High School. She continued her education for nursing in Rochester, earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Metropolitan State University. She worked at numerous hospitals over a 30-year-career in hospital nursing. Later, she worked as a home healthcare nurse, and most recently, as a guardian and caseworker for vulnerable adults.
She was also a tireless volunteer with St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Medica, Love, INC, and Action for Children-Zambia.
The funeral Mass for Margaret “Peg” Plaggerman are scheduled for today (Thursday) at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Maple Lake. Memorials are requested to Love, INC, or Action for Children-Zambia.
