A funeral Mass is planned for today (Tuesday) in Annandale for a longtime area resident and businessman.
Lloyd Rassat passed away June 6th at the age of 77.
Lloyd grew up in the Waverly area, and graduated from St. Mary High School in Waverly in 1966.
He served in the military in Viet Nam for some 13 months.
Lloyd and his wife, Barbara raised their family in Wright County, while Lloyd was involved in sewer and water work. He later ran Lloyd’s Excavating from 1988 to 2001.
Lloyd was also an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo, and more recently, St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale, where the funeral Mass is scheduled for today (Tuesday).
